Very nice site have stayed there a few times, it,s on 2 levels and there are 2 toilet blocks, the top level is the old Broadway Railway Station and the toilet block is in the old station buildings, the bottom level is quite new with a brand new toilet block, there is plenty of places of intrest, the steam railway at Toddington which runs down to Cheltenham, there is a good open market at Morteon in the marsh on a Tuesday, it,s not far from Stratford on avon (16miles) there,s a Bugdens super mkt in Broadway, Evesham is 6 miles away with Tesco/ Morrisons/Somerfields super mkts and it,s a 10minute walk into Broadway.

I would agree with Corrakid's comments. We have been there a couple of time and it is an excellent site. I doubt you will be disappointed.

You may want to consider the CC at Moreton in the Marsh - just a few miles away.

It's a nice villages but has a greater variety of bars, resturants, shops and mini supermarkets that you can walk to in 5 minutes.

If you have kids it has a great new playground and crazy golf course.

Beautiful site, in a beautiful part of the world, Quite easy to get to aswell and handy for Evesham, Cheltenham and Stratford on Avon, Aswell as proper Cotswold towns like Burford, chipping campden, Bourton on the water, Winchcombe and obviously Broadway,
There is plenty to do especially if you like walking and exploring.

We stayed on this site last year and absolutely loved it!  It's a beautiful site and very well run.  Everything is spotless (as you would expect from a CC site).  The little village of Broadway is wonderfully friendly and if you don't fancy driving the buses run from there (10 min walk from the site) frequently.  The driver even dropped us off right outside the site on the return leg because it was raining!!!!!

Have also stayed at the Moreton-in-Marsh CC site (another great site).  Very similar to Broadway (as in close to the town and great bus services) but it's a larger site.

Personally we prefer Broadway.

Have a great time kjd12 AND welcome to UKCS!!!!

My OH does that, she drives buses round there quite often and often drops the people staying at the broadway site off by the entrance if she knows thats where they are staying! So if you get on the yellow and blue buses to go into stratford and its a young blonde woman driving make sure you mention your a fellow vanner!

What a lovely lady she must be gazmister123?!

We caught the bus into Evesham and had the same driver (male) both ways.  He could see we were soaked so when I said can you drop us as close to the site as possible he did (right outside!!).

Can you ask her if you can take a dog on the bus please, we are going down there at Feb half term and like to use the local public transport where possible.

Johnsons (yellow and blue) buses do accept dogs,And I am fairly certain first travel who also operate round there used to aswell,

Be warned though, if you get my OH she will keep you talking for about half an hour once you get her started on caravans / camping and doggies! lol

Many thanks, If there is somewhere to park the bus she's welcome to come in for a cup of tea and chat as much as she likes.

[hope the other passengers don't mind] !!

We love it here and it is only the 800 mile round trip that stops us going every year.  Now that we have a motorhome, perhaps we will manage more often, I hope so!  Ethel.
