Hi Emma
Been about 20 times in the region of 60 nights - as part of my old job as a outdoor instructor - It will be very busy at Easter - , I think most sites at Easter in the lakes will be full to capacity and will be therefore a bit noisy. In the 20 visits I have been kept awake past 1am on about three occasions. Side farm at Patterdale is more beautiful in my opinion and is a bit quieter – I was banned once as our group was a bit noisey (we deserved it just could not get them to be quiet) which is a good sign I think. - however it is often a challenge to get a flat pitch so you would have to arrive before it got busy. Sykeside at Brothers water might be your best option as it tends to attract more outdoor enthusiasts and less people who are there for the beer and as it has not got shops within walking distance
