Walking?
I have towed to Crystal Palace twice and it never took me anywhere near that to get from the M4 to it.

We loved Crystal Palace when we went 4 years ago. Bus stop just outside of site gates which was handy. Some friends stayed there last year and their only complaint was that they didnt see the very small sign in the reception window warning about foxes getting into awnings and their had 2 pair of their shoes chewed oops.
hi avent been to the crystal place one, but really enjoyed abbey wood site, the train station is about a 10 minute walk from the site train takes you straight in to central london in about 30 mins
Abbey wood is a great site, and easy to find. You could be anywhere. Train station so handy for getting into London, trains very frequent. 2 shower blocks, 1 always open when the other is being cleaned. Big information room on places to see and the wardens are very informed.
