Hi, has anyone booked Drumaheglis using the online booking system? Both myself and my brother booked using the link on the council website. We were able to pick our pitches using the map. Great, but we havent had the confirmation e-mail or the funds haven't been taken out of our accounts yet.

Does anyone know how the system works? Looks like a phonecall to the council will be necessary this week.

I was just thinking the same thing myself, as I booked online, paid and have had no confirmation email as you said. I think I will be calling them this week too.  It is much easier when Peter the warden is in the office and dealing with him direct, but off course by then all the dates you want are gone!!

Paul I called them today, booking went through fine, but they do the payments manually, when they put the payment through they will email confirmation.  They said the online booking was going well, and most people commented on how easy it was to use.  I found it easy to see when they were fully booked.  I do think however they should have an automated email to say all details have been sent, your site is reserved and once payment is taken email confirmation will be sent..

Hi Wendy I was about to tell you the same. Phoned as soon as I got in from work. We are booked for 27/28 March, two pitches, myself and brother.

Did everyone get their confirmation letter on Saturday?  I got mine, and they didn't take full amount just half deposit, which was a nice surprise.  Seems a good booking method even if it is half manual.

Roll on a bit of good weather, some of our hottest weather has been at Drumaheglis!

Hi Wendy, yes we got ours too and only half deposit. Great cant wait to get away again in March.
