We are booked to the Whitefield Forest using the Red Funnel all inc offers, taking the motorhome;  Then we are looking at getting the wander/rover 1 week ticket for the island bus service which includes the open top tours which will take us along and as driver i too can enjoy the scenery. 

Whitefield have their own inclusive prices on their website for longer periods of time.

The Isle of Wight is not that big that you cannot go one end to the other and across; it is lovely with loads of different places which are a must to visit at any age.

You probably already know but if not it could save you some money - you can exchange Tesco Clubcard points for Wight Link tickets - and as usual you get 4 x tesco clubcard value so it is well worth it.  We did our ferry crossing and a couple of days out using tesco vouchers, saved quite a lot of money.

i'm with most posters on here, we loved the orchards. clean, friendly, nice shop & small take away.

is definately the quieter side of the island, with only the needles to see, so did have to drive for our days out, but really enjoyed the tranquility of the holiday & area

We stayed out Southlands last year. Even though it has been taken over by the CC I would think it is still a good site. Some pitches are fully serviced (or were?).

You only need a week to visit all the I.O.W. Been twice in 40 years and nothing had changed much..

As I said, Southlands is now a Caravan Club Site. Have a look in the new book or the CC website.

Sorry only read 1 page of previous posts. It's been a long, do things in the garden weekend!

Shame that as it was a really good site, will check CC Site.
