We were originally thinking of selling our tourer and buying a static.
Now we are thinking of trying to get a seasonal pitch in the North Wales area this year if possible. Anyone have any ideas ??? Sent email to Conwy Touring Park and Plassey Park.
We love our tourer but our dd goes to school September and hubby works Manchester so we want to start our weekend as early as possible on the Friday. We have looked into the static's to get a decent one is 10K plus, but prices for ground fees are over 2 K per year and worried that we make a wrong decision and we are stuck on the park with a static.
Ideas greatly appreciated.

I think you will be too late for the Plassey. I believe that they have a 2 year waiting list for seasonal pitches.
We looked into a seasonal pitch in North Wales before Christmas but decided against it in the end. The 2 sites below had availability in November. You can check the reviews of them on here. From memory Morfa Lodge was about £1800 and Dinlle Caravan Park about £2200.
We are not holding much hope for Plassey ourselves lol
Just had a quick look at Morfa Lodge and sent them an email, its more expensive than what we first thought. Our friends pay around £1300 no room on there site though.
A new touring park for seasonals is being built at fir view caravan park just outside welshpool, I think its about £750 from march to november, its mainly statics but very pretty, with a small club and swimming pool, and kiddies play area. Penny.

Although we do have a long waiting list at Plassey Leisure Park, it is often the case that by the time we come to offer a Seasonal Pitch, the caravan owner has already found an alternative park!!
Therefore it is always worthwhile to get in contact with us.....you may well be lucky to get in for this year.
Thanks Brookie would love to fill in the application but our van is 10 years old still in excellent condition but you only allow vans 4 years or younger so back to the drawing board for us
