Trevornick is superb, expensive, but superb none the less. Stayed there 3 times.

I used to go there as a kid and it was great but after reading the reviews on the camp site search section on  here it does seem to have a lot of bad reviews now, seems it may have become a victim of its own success.

Went in 2004 an loved it! I recall hving to pay 20p for the showers despite the pitch cost.

we have been 2 yrs off the trot and love it would defintley go back.they do a lovely cider called rattlers,but if you don't drink cider be very careful if you try it.its just like apple juice but won't say what the after affects we're. i'm  never touching it  again lol.but i've said that 2yrs running and still went back for more lol

Same as Esther1-we looked at booking for this summer but was told that, although it's a very good site, you are packed in a bit and it can be a bit noisy in the evening.I'm not a miserable git but when my kids are snoring in their beds,I don't want to put up with other people's kids yelling and screaming till god knows what time!!

We stayed last July, apart from mice in the tent we had a great time, even though the weather was very WET.   Great place though, you will not be stuck for things to do even if it is a bit wet.

Ahh Rattler!!!

Bloomin lovely stuff served over ice.  It really does you over though.  You get pished from the legs up.  The original falling over juice.

we stayed here in July/Aug 2006 and had a great time. Our children were 4 1/2 and 2yrs old. We had a good sized pitch number- 438 on the corn field, that accomodated our 6 berth dome, car, gazebo and space for table etc) which was quiet at night as its a distance away from the club house etc and it was noisy down there. (although your immediate neighbours may not be!). the pitch had a small road (more like a driveway) to the surrounding pitches so was pretty safe for the kids to roam a little. The toilet block and showers etc were good, and did need a supply of 20p's. The family bathrooms had only just opened and needed a 50p for the bath. The cafe was very handy, the shop held a good stock and being able to hire a TV was a godsend for some rainy days. There is a beach nearby Hollywell (i think) with a safe lazy river for little ones to paddle in, and some rocky areas for older ones too. Loved the holiday, hope you have a great time.

We've been three times in the last 5 years and love it there.  Only thing stopping us going back is we've done everything down there, so fancied a change.  Will probably go there again at some point in the future.  Had terrible weather last year, but still a lovely site.

Oh yes, i forgot to mention the Rattler! We went to Torquay last year & i managed to find some in a shop in Totnes, happy memories of Travornick hopfully we will visit again soon, its a fantastic site
