Hiya
We went last year - I did post in 2006 as well or it may have been earlier as we have been two or three times. I think I put something about it being better for older kids - well now my kids are the older kids and it's great they can go in the pool and son can go fishing etc. It's a nice site but can be loud - but nothing like the busy Haven type commercial site.! It's good cos of the pool, the fishing, the pub and the massive toilets. You can walk to the village where there's a chippy I think and two spar type shops and a coffee shop, there is also a chip van which comes round twice weekly. We like it but then we don't tend to move anywhere cos it's not our beach site - we go round in the motorhome so we use this as a rest site! Last year there was a campervan going round selling smoothies freshly made - he had all this fruit on the back! It's a hilly site but terraced except for the fields down to the fishing lake.
