I have trawled through all the sites on here & cannot find a campsite near the Eden Project in Cornwall. There must be one. I know I dont even know where the Eden project is yet except Cornwall but thought this site might help.

Any ideas please?

From UK Campsites I stayed there late last year. One of the best sites that I've used in the UK.

  This  http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=4201  is a fabulous site and is only half a mile away from the Eden Project.

The C&CC sites at Veryan and Trewan Hall are near the Eden Project. We have stayed at both sites and I would recommend either of them. Trewan Hall is members only though but if you were intending to stay more than 6 nights it would be worth joining.

If you stay at Veryan another good day out is Goonhilly Earth Station.

The Eden Project is near St Austell and there are quite a lot of campsites in this area so it shouldn't be a problem to find one with spaces when you want to go.

Apologies for posting in this section as I have a caravan not a motorhome, but I just wanted to help.

Try Treveague farm Gorran Haven, thats not to far from the Eden Project,you have also got The Lost Gardens of heligan near by, we are going back to Treveague farm for the 2nd time this year excellent site with very good prices

We've just booked Tregarton Park, Gorran (near Mevagissey/St Austell).  I don't know how to put a link but if you go to the camp site search and type in the park it shoud bring it up.

Never been to this site but it's got good reviews.  If you book 7 or more nights out of main season you get a really good discount.  We booked 9 nights which includes EHU and awning - £92!  

It wouldn't be too far from The Eden Project

We stayed at Carlyon Bay near St. Austell.
I know some people from the site walked to the Eden Project, from there, but didn't fancy it ourselves.
One piece of advice about visiting the Eden Project is not to go on a rainy day, it was very busy the day we went. We had waited for a wet day to visit and obviously had a lot of others. Also buy tickets before you go. The campsite owner told us it was best to leave it until after 4pm as it wasn't so busy.

Hi........used this site last year when visiting the 'Eden Project' ....it's called 'Sun Valley' ..just outside St Austell.  It's about 2 miles from the beach and 'The Lost Gardens of Heligan' ........and is 7 miles from 'Eden'

When we went to the Eden Project we stayed at the CC site at Looe but it is a bit far out. You can buy the tickets online if you want to avoid queues.
