This will be our first camping trip as a family,we have 4 children aged 11 and under,

we want something quite basic,just with toilets and washroom,and where theres a woods for exploring,

anyone know of anywhere like this...dont want to go to far for our first adventure,,,

What about this one - http://www.theelmscampsite.co.uk/?page_id=7 - on the edge of Epping Forest.  We've not been, but it looks OK from the website - and you could go a bit further afield if you like it.

How about Lea Valley Country Park near Chingford? Also Roydon Mill near Harlow - with banks on the River Lea this may be a problem for you with young children.
