Hi there, I just wondered if anyone knew of any campsites close to the Sherwoods Pine Go Ape Centre in Nottingham? My partner and I are looking to combine a weekend of camping with a day out at the Go Ape Centre!
Thanks,
Natalie.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.

That's the place I'd chosen - it's so convenient. There is one a little further away called New Hall Farm which looks promising too - thank you both very much for your help!
your very welome and I hope you enjoy your camping and the great info the members will provide if they can,and if you require any other info just put a post on.

We went to Sherwood Forest Caravan Park a few years ago, and have another week booked in August.
It's only 30 miles away but another world, I am sure you will enjoy it.
Sherwood Pines is where Go Ape is situated. Bike hire there is quite expensive, but the trails around the park are great and there is a lovely playground for children.
Go Ape looks scary though.
That's excellent, great to hear some good feedback on Go Ape too. I think we will take our own bikes as I have heard bike hire can be expensive. Think we may be too tired after the Go Ape experience though - I'm quite scared of heights but it does say on the website that you can overcome some fears by doing it and as I know my partner will love it I'm sure he'll hold my hand along the way!! I'm really looking forward to a long weekend outdoors!
