If you use the A38 the campsite on the chudleigh offslip,Icant remember its name but its in the search area if you look under chudleigh I m sure its there.,also dartmoor halfway inn at bickington but Irecommend booking it in advance also plenty of laybys on the way. The Dobwalls bypss is now open so that cuts out that bottleneck and on that particular piece of road you can wonder at the 3 bat bridges!!! and the bathouse (looks like a shed built of block) beside the first overbridge, costs for these £117000 for the bridges and £17000for the shed I kid you not you couldnt make it up . The A390 from there to St Austell is a good road with the climb out of Lostwithiel the only real uphill section buty nothing to worry aboutand as for tregarton I thoroughly enjoyed it last year and will be returning there sometime soon on my day s off from my 4on 4off work rotas
