We are planning a trip to Northumberland in June.  I know there are lots of threads on here about Northumberland but no-one mentions whether the sites are FLAT - can't stand that rolling out of bed business!!!!  How do others cope?  We arn't looking necessarily for beach side - just somewhere quiet with good clean toilets and showers.  Oh and we are will be in a tent.

Any ideas would be welcome.

River Breamish CC site.

 

Cracking site, flat as they come, tents don`t have to walk a mile to the (excellent) toilet block, walk to a good pub with good grub - and you can take a dog in.

We stayed here last Whitsun, we had a hardstanding for the MH with our relatives next to us on grass in their family tent. The site is level and well laid out.
