I only know of New House Farm site which although very good the facilities are a bit TOO basic for some friends.

I've used the UKCS directory and most of the sites in the Brecon Beacons area are near the towns. The Castle Inn site looks good but is next to a pub & carpark.

Basically they want a quiet campsite with toilet/shower and above all well away from towns and bright lights.

Any suggestions please?

How about Fforest Fields? My family and I are going in May due to the reviews i've read on here. Everyone who's been has said it is fantastic. I can't wait to find out for myself.

I can recoomend Fforest fields no lights at night very dark great for gazing at the sky etc, very natural site , plenty of space to roam,
