hi, can anybody tell me if there is a campsite by loch ness, preferably with a club house on it? the closer ,the better. cheers.!

Yes there's one right next to the loch with a bar where you can get food - it's near Drumnadrochit (I think ) - can't remember the name - maybe Loch Ness campsite -it's the only one on the loch side (or so I think) so you can't miss it if you're going towards Inverness.

Stayed at Loch Ness campsite last year. Not a bad site at all, and it's got a bar.

It's at a place called Invermorrison and it's the only one right next to the loch.

Stayed at the Loch Ness site last year, nice site, nice bar, but for me would use it again but only for a stopover.

we stayed at loch ness site last september the only site overlooking the loch watched out the window most of the night looking for the monster then i woke up in bed next to him ! club on site and shop .over the road you can walk some of the great glen walk we did but only to the village stunning views , have a great time.

Hi mad hatter,Stayed at this site two years ago,Loch Ness Caravan Park,open from the 1st March,good bar and family room,serve good meals,pets allowed,free fishing,mobil shop comes dially at around 10am,mobil shop and bar open peak times only,good friendly site clean well kept. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=3510

If you use this site you may not wont to leave,very peaseful and relaxing by the loch.
