can anyone give me real deals on the best campsites for money , we dont have a lot of money so 35 quid a night campsites are out of the question but if anyone can tell us a few good sites ( not bothered about onsite pub) then we would really appreciate it
thanks

Hi Have you had a look at the campsite search, you can then look at lots of different sites in the areas you want to visit. I'm sure others will be along soon with their ideas/recommendations
Why not join the C&CC and use their smaller sites CS's (Certified Sites) as these can be very reasonable - some are only about £10 per night. Also the C&CC main sites are very good value although many are around £25.00 per night for a family you can be sure that the toilets and showers will be lovely and clean.
I joined the camping and caravanning club purely to use their temporary holiday site at Bank farm gower. It costs £8.50 per night per pitch, but no electric available in this rally field. The rally is on May 22-31st , and also July 24th -August 16th .the site itself charges over £20 a night for the same dates.
The CCC has temporary sites all over the country at very low prices, some are just a field, some are on caravan/camping sites with all facilities.

Echo comments on joining a club and using CL\CS's a lot now offer EHU and facilities for between £10 and £15 a night all in. It depends on what you want out of your camping and what you are looking for e.g. Adults, family, like countryside, want local, near coast etc. etc. The earch on here is a good start but there are many of the smaller sites that are not listed as yet.
I went to Watermouth Valley last year - very reasonable and views to die for! Basic but very good value! Would go again but have just been offered a seasonal in Somerset
just basic elu and a loo as long as it has a play area for kids we aint bothered we had 2 holidays in brean sands wind wind wind and more wind never again is it always windy down there ?, were not bothered about the beach but we do like a clean site been to scratby hall that was good but priceyanything aroung 17 quid will dolooked at the guide but they can fib sometimes i preffer to get the truth from campers whove been to the sites .
thanks
were not members of the camping or caravan club yet but weve heard its well worth the money not bothered where we go in the country but im very pleased with the feedback im getting some great sites , thats what i love about campers best people in the world always help each other out
Grunty - even non-members can search sites on the C&CC web against criteria, near cost, EHU, showers etc. but you don't get much info on the CS's just their localion, map, price band and contant details.
If you join the club you get the "big sites book" which has a lot more info in it.
