I'm looking for a campsite for easter and really need help. We need two pitches, childrens play area and showers. Not into all the really big sites with everything going on, a nice farm somewhere would be ideal.
This is the first time we've camped with a caravan and so far I'm having a nightmare.
We live in Blyth, Northumberland and are hoping to go anywhere north to Scotland or south to Yorkshire
I've tried loads and loads of sites but can't seem to find anywhere.
Many thanks
Paula

I dont know if you are a member of the Caravan Club as they have a "late availability" facility on their website. Also, I am reliably informed, as Easter approaches, cancellations are common occurrence, so a phone call as opposed to a web enquiry might prove fruitful. Either way I hope you have fun.
Have you looked at some CL or CS sites, some of them have toilet and shower facilities and in our experiance the ones attached to pubs have play areas for kids,
They are generally cheaper than sites to, If you are a member of the C & CC club there new sites book details a lot of CS's (caravan club call them CL's)
Worth a look
------------- Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
This site had pitches still for easter a couple of weeks ago when we booked, we've not been before but it looks nice and the Lornareviews are good. No play area though.
