hi can someone recommend a site even a small cl for camping and fishing in the south east around kent please. i have done a search on here and found a few but some, although they come up in a search, upon ringing do not have the lake on site. we would like to park right by the lake. we are members of cc and c and cc so even small farm cl's will do, no kids to consider so will be just 2 adults

The C&CC have 3 CS's listed that have EHU and fishing "nearby" but none that meet your wish for pitching next to lake.

Don't know if they are the same as the ones you have checked on here but if you don't need EHU there are a few with fishing on site coming up in siteseeker.

Not in Kent but Sussex, is a site called Sumners Ponds - you can pitch up right next to their fishing lakes.
