have you tried waterfoot caravan park on ullswater, no entertainment, but they have a small bar on site, and only half a mile from village we are going for may day bh. Penny

Have you tried Park Cliffe nr Windermere?
Up here is VERY busy this time of year and usually gets booked months in advance - especially the site with entertainment.
Have you tried the Haven site at Lakeland for any last minute cancellations?
