We are having trouble finding a campsite that doesn't take dogs. We have children coming with us and one of them is terrified of dogs & it would ruin her holiday to be in the same place as them. The rest of us don't particularly want to spend our holiday with dogs either. We are in Norfolk and aren't going to go too far this time, maybe Lincolnshire, Suffolk or Essex. Does anyone have any suggestions for family sites that don't take dogs? Thanks very much for your help :o)

have a look on advanced search, you can choose whether or not the site you want accepts dogs.

I am sure you will find a few sites that don't accept dogs but as has been suggested not many. The most likely are farm CS's where there could be other livestock but of course you won't have any facilities. Almost all sites require that dogs are kept on a lead at all times so there should not be a problem with dogs running around unsupervised.

If you can't find one that has an out and out ban on dogs, look for ones that charge high prices for them - most dog owners avoid these if they can so they should be relatively dog free.
Farm sites wouldn't be a good idea - they usually bar campers' dogs because their own are running free.
