Hi

Just wanted to say many thanks to those that have taken the time to put make comments on Shell Island, this is my first trip here with my family and I enjoyed it so much I am going to return for a week in August.

The weather was FAB who would have thought it was April we arrived on Friday luchtime, we had to join a que as the tide was then, the kids got really excited as we crossed the road with the tide in. No problems with the showers though the toilets had run out of toilet roll, I cant complain as this is the best place we have ever camped

Just for refernece there were

2 x Adults

3 x kids

1 x Dog

That has to be the largest picture I have ever seen posted on here.  Glad you had a good time there.

we just got back from our first trip to shell well impressed will be going again

seen you lot queing on firday lol we got there thursday to beat the rush

'Oh dear, I looked at the link and thought 'must visit that place' then saw the item that said they could only take tents.'

Looking at the picture, they also take motorhomes.  There must be some reason why they can't take caravans.
