is it my imagination or have Forest Holidays dropped their prices for sites with no loos or showers?  I could have sworn I calculated that it would cost us about £50/ night for our family of 5 to camp in Matley and Denny wood a couple of years ago.  Have just checked again and its around £14 / night over the BH period.  That sounds much more reasonable.

It's not just me then lol

I thought there prices had dropped a bit which is fantastic as they were a bit over the top for having no facilities.

don't get me wrong, the sites with no facilities are the ones we go for as they're quieter but the cheaper camping is a welcome bonus too
