you could give comforts farm in cowes on the island a try, they arealways worth a call, basic facilities - toilets and showers. thats it

are any of you over 18? that can make a  huge difference

i have taken groups of teenagers to brighstone and atherfield bay too

also try corfe camp in porchfield - scout camp, but do take non scout groups

just to add, if you are going to try any of the smaller sites on the island (like the ones suggested) i would try PHONING them,

we are a bit behind the times over here and still prefer to talk rather then email!!

(infact you will be lucky if the websites have any more then a home page!)

Hiya cant comment specifically on above site but the majority of campsites have curfew usually around 11pm where there is no noise allowed, if you are looking for a wild party camp you might be better to try and find either an adults only site or even a farmers field where the only people you are disturbing are the sheep lol! 

Not trying to put dampner on your trip but its for this very reason you will find a lot of sites not willing to take you.

Hurst View is not that strict that with noise, stayed there 3 times and a group of teenagers were there, music on, camp fire going, well behaved and Wing the site owner does his rounds and asked them to be quiet if they are making too much noise and sometimes joins them just to keep them quiet. Its OK for teenagers. I am 41 and they didnt annoy me.  Generally he leaves you on your own unless you are being a real nuisance to others. Ask to stay in the far field away from others.

Hi Kayleigh and a warm welcome to UKCampsite.co.uk, you will find that as said most sites will have a curfew of around 11pm but if you are quiet then there is no reason why you cannot stay up longer. As in all walks of life it is a case of being aware of others and trying to stay friendly with other site users. Often people on campsites forget that what is acceptable noise inside a house is extremly loud under canvas, I have never had a problem with groups of teenager and young 20's + camping near us but do find that if alcohol is supped in large amounts that can become a problem not only for the age groups you are asking about but for ALL ages. There is absolutely nothing worse than trying to sleep when the neighbours are shouting and singing at the tops of their voices!

Some sites (Bruces Cave in Dumfries area as an example) have a bonfire area which is away from the main caravan/camping area and in the case of Bruces is surrounded by trees which does a great job of muffling any noise.

I hope you find a nice site that will suit your needs and that you will have an enjoyable holiday.

At the weekend we were joined by around 10 cyclists aged from 18 to 25 on our favorite site. They were extremly well behaved and although they tell me they were up until 4 am we did not hear a peep from them, perhaps due to the fact that they were in the bonfire area and that they were considerate to other campers. It is refreshing to know that there are so many youngsters taking up the camping holidays again and I hope that in the future we can all enjoy the great outdoors in harmony.

comforts farm is a lovely, small , out of the way, but close enough to get places lol,

it is a family run campsite on a working stud farm, some lovely arabs in the adjoining fields.

the price is amazing! and relevent to the facilities, which are pretty basic! but they are clean showers, toilets wash up areas and laundry bits, with a free spin dryer and iron!!!

EHU x 12 (ish) and a 'pitch where you like' attitude if not wanting EHU. there is a nice copse area to wander through that they are actually clearing a bit this year (ancient woodland that has to be done by the 'right' company!) but they want the campers to be able to enjoy the woods.

and its just up the road from my house!!! so i can always nip home if the weather gets bad!!! pmsl!
