Try Burrs Caravan Club site, it has a Canoe Club next door to the site.

That's an interesting link cheesy. We bought an inflatable canoe last year and have just returned from Hill of Oaks caravan site where we were able to launch the canoe direct onto Windermere. It's a great site for canoeing as it seems to be quieter down that end of the lake.

Seems access to water is severley limited in this country though.

Sorry to hijack thread, what inflatable canoes do you have, we have looked at the sevylor ones in the past as they seem good quality,

OH wants a rigid one, I want an inflatable as she drives an MPV and its a bugger getting stuff on and off the roof. (Especially as she is only 4'10 and it'll be me hanging off the side of the things trying to get it on.) !!
