Hi, My family and I are taking our Tourer to Hayle near St Ives in July and I am trying to find a place to stop overnight before arriving in the morning on site. As we are in Lancashire we are going to drive down Friday night, hopefully arriving in the Hayle area between 11pm and 12am. My intention is to find somewhere like a services to pitch up in...can anyone advise of a suitable place to stop fairly close to Hayle?
Thanks, Anthony

Welcome to the group. How far do you want your first "leg" to be and how close to Hayle do you want to get? I assume you want to get into Cornwall before you stop and not overnight around Exeter at the end of the M5?
Ideally I would want to get all the way down to Hayle so the drive in the morning is only small. I have considered staying at the services at the end of the M5 but that still leaves a fair trek to Hayle.
Thanks, Anthony

if you want to get all the way to Hayle before you stop I assume you are looking to arrive very early, does the site you are going to have any facilities for you to park up before you can get on your pitch?
