Hi

Just wondering if anyone can recommend some good parks for family in Cornwall.  As you can see from my profile I live in Cornwall but have little experience of the caravan parks.  We are 2 adults and a 4 year old.  Not really fussed about evening entertainment e.g. Haven, etc but the main thing needs to be a good play area/park and a swimming pool would be a great bonus.  Any help greatly appreciated as we need to use the caravan or sell it!!! :-(

You won't go far wrong with Trevornick, Monkey Tree or Hendra up on the North Coast.

i can recommend trevornick and my far pentewan sands,

however, you have to book exceptionally early for these sites, if opting for prime summer weeks

There are some sites at Mawgan Porth which are short walks from the beach and coastal walks. I think the one we stayed at was Sunvalley (?).  It's a quiet site with play room, play area and usually spotlessly clean although very busy in July/August.  My nephews love it there and have been going since they were toddlers (they stay in a static though).

Polmanter is a great site but be warned, it is very exposed and gets hammered by the wind. Your van will be ok but the awning might suffer!

Trevornick is excellent but huge.
