Hi to all,

               Newbie camper I have tried booking into several sites in Cumbria for the back end Bank Holiday in May. If I travel on Friday arriving say at around 16.00 at a camp site that is first come first served what is the chance of getting in for the weekend?

You could always take a list of possible sites and ring them when you're anywhere near , saves having to go through the process every time you arrive, just to be told no space.  Good luck. 

Pray for rain it puts loads of people off.  We went for a BH weekend up to Hoddom Castle with a really bad forecast and were the only campers on the field, it only rained over one night and the rest was glorious.
