Hi v v new to camping - not even got tent yet! Toying with idea of Wynnster Mercury 9 but have found out that Haven Parks tend to charge extra as over 6 x 6m. Dont really want to go any smaller with the tent but cannot seem to find any sites with Indoor swimming pool and maybe even kids club/entertainment. Have also been warned off the Haven due to late night noise etc which is not good with 2 young kids. Are we being unrealistic in our site search? Any replies really appreciated.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We stayed at Shamba Holidays last August. That has an unmanned indoor swimming pool. Whilst we were there last year the lovely owner of the site came round with a survey for us to fill in to see whether there was any call for a childrens club. So don't know if they have one this year or not. We thought it was a bit on the expensive side and only booked because we wanted to go away and hadn't booked in advance and this was the only site available. We didn't like that you had to put a code into the toilet/shower door and how expensive it was but other than that it was a nicely laid out site

Don't know about your budget or how old your kids are, but you might like to consider a trailer tent - eg Combicamp - or folding camper - eg Dandy Dart. You can't help but be more comfortable if (when?) is gets cold or rainy. (Aplogies to UKCS camping members!)
PS
The main difference between a 'trailer tent' and a folding camper is that with a trailer tent you have to peg down the fabric 'tent' part. With a 'folding camper', there is little or no pegging down
.
This group of 4 parks have indoor & outdoor pools + you can use facilities at all parks and there is a bus to link them which also goes to the beach (small charge)
All 4 have clubs & various other facilities, have stayed at Golden Coast & Twitchem - both good. One of the parks only takes tents.
