no entertainment thanks! Has anyone been to a site in the south west that they wouldn't mind sharing with me? it has to be quiet at night and have decent showers. I've tried the campsite search thingy but keep stumbling across negative reviews. Oh also need a decent sized pitch for my 25ft caravan.

You could try Gunvenna, near Wadebridge/Polzeath in Cornwall, I have added a review, it's a flat spacious site and not overpriced.

Lincoln Farm Park near Oxford has an indoor pool, you can book the pool for a session and have it to yourself if you like.

Indoor pool with slide. Bar & games room, but no entertainment, if I recall. Nice site.

Easewell Farm Woolacombe north Devon.  It is part of the Woolacombe bay empire, but Easewell is the quiet site with an indoor pool.  The downside is you are paying through the nose still for all the entertainment etc which is available on their other sites.  We used the free yellow buses they laid on and used the facilities and entertainment on their 3 other local parks but quite liked Easewell because it was alot more laid back and quiet. Less packed in etc.  Have not been for a few years now due to the cost but there may be some more upto date reviews here.

We are going to Yeatheridge farm (as suggested by TonyS99) in 2 weeks time, I will try to come back after and let you know what its like. But we chose this place for exactly the same reason.

Kids get a couple of hours swimming in, whatever the weather, but seems a nice traditional sort of place!!
