Thanks to everyone we just found site. Vale of York about a mile don road from where we are. Had a little drive round this afternoon came across by chance rang owner who was so helpful, he came straight up to see us at goosewood, organised to take down my awning and move everything also put back up my awning.

Everything done by my return next weekend. I would like to say i may be novice but i have already meet some very lovley and helpful people. i never reallised there were still so many out there.

It is a small world.  I can't remember much about when kes was filmed, I was only about 9 at the time.  I do remember getting taunted by the kids on our street tho and when it premiered in Barnsley, I got a new dress and we had a taxi (which was a novelty in those days) and were excorted into the cinema. We felt like royalty.

We have a friend who now lives in Spain and he was a big Barnsley fan, so big infact, that when I organised a christmas dinner dance at the Football Club, he nearly got arrested for trying to pinch a picture of Ronnie off the wall.  It was a long time ago and very embarrassing.   I refused to arrange any more do's after that

Were did your friend move to in Spain. I got an English Supermarket near Malaga. Also if you want when its his birthday or something we sort out for Ronnie to sign his card.

Our friend moved to Tortosa, getting Ronnie to sign a card would be great.  I will try do a bit of detective work and try to find out his birthday.
