If it helps one of my hubbys mates went last weekend . He goes regularly and loves it.

I cannot find a Broadwater House in Cheddar, however there is a Broadway House in Cheddar and they have 55 reviews on this website, with the most recent being April 2009

I live about 40 miles from Burnham and visit a member of this site when she stays at Northam Farm each year.  The area is, IMHO, utterly soul-less with unsafe muddy beaches and very "kiss me quick hat" if you get what I mean.  The site seems fine but it is field after field of caravans and the approach road is mile after mile of holiday camps and caravan parks.

The cheddar area is far nicer and if you want a decent beach holiday try North or South Devon or North Cornwall, such as Bude.

For many, it fits the bill entirely, wall to wall arcades, bars, pubs and clubs, but if you are wanting a civilised break with lovely sandy beaches then it won't be for you.

I agree with Ali, Having lived in Brean for a while, I was very pleased to leave. If you are after a holiday in Somerset, Come to Cheddar, broadway is a bit holiday camp, however there is a lovely site in rodney stoke (just past Cheddar) called Bucklegrove this one is nice for the kids, or the Cheddar C&CC site up on Priddy is our favourite one!

If you are looking for a lovely beach site, try the south somerset coast, around minehead or watchet.....

That'll be north somerset then mumshadenough lol! TBH I don't find it much better than Brean, Minehead = chavtastic!  Watchet not so bad but dead as a dodo the highlight of the area has to be Exmoor IMHO.

Lovely site and area this one, Bude in Cornwall well just about Cornwall lol.  The beaches up there are to die for, spent our hols there as kids and OH and I often go for a weekend and have used Wooda for a static van holiday.
