Hi thanks for the reply and your concern for pike its always good to see, im a very experienced pike angler.also a member of the pike anglers club of great britain, and am all to aware of the lower oxygen levels in the water which make it slightly harder for the fish to recover, but if treated and allowed to recover, properly there is no more harm done to them than other fish caught in the warmer months and will certainly not die, most pike will have already spawned usaully from jan to march, sometimes as late as up until the end of april but this is seldom hapens unless we have had a excepational warm winter which i think you would agree we have not!! lol. anyways thanks for your concerns i have taken them on board but rest assured any pike i do catch will be treated with the utmost respect and returned to the water very much alive with a long life ahead of them unless another pike eats them!!!
Cheers Mick.
