Just about to book our main two week holiday, we want something busy for the kids, my daughter is 9 happy wherever she goes.
My boy, 12 needs his own space so would probably hang out with a few kids and is very active, out at 9am and back at 10pm, if he had his way.

So which would be the better?
unity, northam farm or warren farm.

unity is double the price as the other two, going 8th August for a fortnight.

We have stayed at Warren Farm around 2 1/2 years ago and Unity last March

Warren Farm did have lots of good points, entrance opposite a path to the beach, well kept toilets/showers, indoor play area for the younger ones, some play equipment on each field, I cant comment on the evening entertainment as we didnt go in at all.

Onsite take-away was ok, and the kids liked the free cinema (only small though). Worse thing was that it was so open to the Brean Winds,

Unity, this site is very big, our toilets/shower blocks were great, nice and clean lots of loos/showers, but NO hot water for the period that we stayed there. A long walk to the central complex if you are pitched at the rear of the site (its so big they have a land train running around it to ferry people around), not much was open whilst we were there, but the entertainment room was very very noisey, so much so that we all left the club early and gave up.

if I was to choose which one, err Unity, just because I expect it may be less windy than at Warren Farm, although our friends tent was wrecked, anothers awning collapsed and our awning took 4 of us to hold it down in March

I have used unity most years since 1976. like warren farm it can be very windy.

i am going to the brean country and western festival this year and have decided to give northam farm a try as it looks a bit more sheltered than unity or warren

regards

John
