I'd like to get away for a couple of days to Cornwall during half-term week with the missus, daughter & 2 small dogs in the campervan. What I'd like is:
1. Site that takes dogs, within 15 mins walk of the beach.
2. Beach with surf that allows dogs.
3. Pub or similar within 15 mins walk.
Not bothered about EHU, pools, clubhouse etc, but don't mind if they're there. I've looked at dozens of sites, but all fall down on one or more of the 3 items above. I've used the search on this website, and I've googled till I'm blue in the face.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

For a site Kelynack seems to fit the bill (we are booked on site from Saturday to Thursday next week)

Hey Tony
How about beautiful Bude???
The closest campsite to 'town' is Upper Lynstone - short walk to surfing beaches (Summerleaze/Middle Beach/Crooklets). The campsite accepts dogs. They are also allowed on the beaches although during the day (10am - 6pm) they have to be on leads.
You pass a pub on the way (Brendon Arms or Falcon Hotel next door - both fab for food).
Because we live in Bude we have not actually stayed on this campsite but have friends down from the West Midlands regularly who use it and love it!!
Hope that helps!!!

Thanks for all the tips, folks. Real people are often much better than Google, you know.
Magic Cove was fully booked (probably until Prince William's coronation, it looked like). But I'll try that one another time out of peak period.
I've managed to book a couple of nights at Watergate Bay, which looks nice. Bit of a walk to the beach, but it'll do me good.
Thanks again, all.
