we are off to weymouth again this year. but doing a static only site. last time we went with tent, we stayed at littlesea. only thing is its a few miles to the beach and into weymouth. you need your car or can catch bus and i didnt think much of the facilities(pub/ pool wise) we only went down once .the pitches are a few minutes walk from the complex. also the pitches at littlesea can be very boggy in bad weather. they had to tow quite a few vans off while we were there and put boards down for cars. you cant see the sea either its a lagoon over looking chesil beach.
Went to Seaview last year (courtesy of tesco clubcard vouchers lol) and had a fab time. Was a bit worried about the reviews but it was great. The showers were freezing cold and my and my dd's had to use the mens on one occasion but they were meant to be sorting them out the weekend we left. Other than that the pitches were great and really close to the centre which is all in the same building as the toilets. It's not a huge site so everywhere is quite close anyway. The sea and beach are quite a walk away but once there its lovely. You do have a walk to get to the dog walking area lol. The pools are both smallish but with an indoor and outdoor pool we never found that at problem. The bar is in the same venue as the evening entertainment which also serves food. It was that lovely hot sunny week last July that we went so never had to worry about mud or rain. We even got sunburnt!!!
I really liked this site and would go back again, we even looked into buying a static there but soon realised that buying a static is not for us.

As promised on return from Seaview a few notes on the site,i will post a full review later. Overall a good clean site well kept ,toilets good, showers not so good as far as water temp a bit unpredictable, location great just out of town as we like it.Bar prices expensive for food and drink but breakfast top notch and recommend anytime. If you any questions please give us a shout and will try to answer.

Notice you have same caravan as me, not looking for an awning are you. We have a full awning for our van which came with the van, as we dont use it are looking to sell it.
Have you looked at East Fleet Farm at Chickerell? It's only 3 miles from Weymouth. It doesn't have a pool but it does have an onsite pub that serves food and views of the Fleet Lagoon . The site actually borders the Fleet Lagoon but not suitable for adults to swim or boat in but dogs are permitted to have a swim!
It's dog friendly with a dog walk and you can walk the coastal path from the site. There are no statics - it's purely a touring park. Good pitch sizes and you can request hardstanding at no additional cost if it's available. Excellent wash blocks as well .
