I want to go camping for 2 nights in August with a family from abroad. Rather than bring all their gear, I thought they could hire a tent and we could pitch next to them. Anyone know any sites in the NW or Lakes that offer ready pitched family tents? (Not luxury Tipi's or Yurts!) Thanks for any advice.

Awwwww... kinda spoils the fun not pitching and striking together... couldn't they just get a cheap tent?

Thanks for the details of the site near Skipton. I think we'll go for that. It seems like a lot at first, but £50 for 4 people and without the hassle of packing and transporting everything, it's worth it. You can buy a tent cheaply, but it's all the other stuff too. I love the whole camping experience, but my sister doesn't-she's only doing it for the kids, if she's happy, everyone's happy! thanks

That looks like a pretty good service. Don't need it, myself, but I think it would be good for someone who wanted to give camping a try. Good luck with your venture.

We have been working on this Idea for almost a year now and we think we have finally got it fine tuned and ready for what we hope will be a decent summer up here in the North West,

Please spread the word and hopefully there will be lots of new members on the forum after they have been bitten by the camping bug !!!
