Hi

don't know how far you would want to travel but have a look at Burton Constable Sproately just outside Hull, fantastic site with huge sandpit and great play area, we had 5 kids age range between 3 - 10 years when we went at May bank holiday, they all enjoyed themnselves.

don't know how busy it is and it is not dirt cheap but you get what you pay for, also small clubhouse on site for kids so you can shelter if weather rubbish, you can also drive out too Bridlington, Hornsea or Withernsea.  Asda store about 15 mins drive near Bilton for provisions,  have alook at their reveiws on here , always good

Have a look at Centenary Way in Filey - near enough the beach or a bit further inland is Mere Farm,no play area but lots of space and a shop/PO and pub in the village 2mins walk (if that).(Mere Farm is at Burton Fleming very near Hunmanby mid Scarborogh/Brid)

Use the Camp Site search on this forum - there's lots of sites on there.
