Silvercraigs at Kirkcudbright. Cracking wee town with a fishing harbour & dark night skies; the Masonic Arms has a gin bar with over 100 different gins, which are served with the correct tonic & garnish. Local walks with red squirrels. Galleries & various festivals eg Festival of Lights later this year. Site is a charity run by the local community, you pick up your pitch when you book.
Others sites in Dumfries & Galloway are in walking distance of a small town with pub(s) (at Portpatrick, Castle Douglas, Gatehouse of Fleet, Kippford, Wigtown, Moffat…) None has an M&S through.

Does this query include sites that have a bar? Because the Site Finder lets you tick the option for pubs on site or within 1 mile.
That would be contradictory for me. I like to have a pub within easy walking distance, but I prefer NOT to have one on the site. We find that sites with a bar can be noisy, especially if your pitch happens to be quite near it, and we also find that sites with a bar tend to be more expensive, simply because they have a bar.

Yup and they are full of campers and caravaners
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
