Does anybody know if this campsite is still in existence - stopped there a few years ago and thought it was a lovely place to stay.

The turn off is either for Crook or the one sign posted for Ashes Lane Campsite?

There are quite a few sites off little side lanes all the way down the Crook Road but there is one not that far along the road.

Not that far from Kendal be we usually only go if we have to and that's usually today when I work - can't drive or i would go and have a look for you tomorrow.
