Which site have you chosen in Clacton.
Have you ever been to Clacton on Sea? It is a bit like the seaside towns of the 1970s, kiss me quick etc, donkey rides on beach etc, however if you travel outside of clacton, there are some lovely villages and other quaint seaside towns nearby such as Frinton on Sea, Walton on the Naze etc.
It really depends on what you want to do during your holiday. On the plus side, there are lots of local supermarkets so you don't have to go far to buy supplies in. Clacton also has a good leisure centre.
