Fox & Rabbit CS (no facilities on site) - cheap, nice site on a farm next to a fabulous pub with a good restaurant.

Have you tried Grouse Hill camping & caravan site near Robin Hoods Bay? They have plenty of space and have good facilities with a pub nearby..... http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=3550

pexton moor farm 5 miles approx. from pickering.at the entrance to dalby forest.

Black Bull Caravan Park is just down the road from the showground so you can walk it and leave the car behind. We tried to get on here a fews years ago for the August steam Fair but it was booked up but it did look nice.
