We're got almost two weeks booked off work from 27th July and intend on going to 2/3 campsites with our caravan for that time.
We like sites that have lots to do and see around them. Especially into interesting historical sites (not museums), zoos and the like. Furthest site should be within 3-4 hours of Norwich, which is where we live, although we could travel further with stops in-between. Also like sites with activity on them - a pub on or near, maybe a clubhouse etc.
So, anyone know of a few places that fit the bill? My eyes are now square from looking through the sites on here!

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
How about sites up in Cumbria around and about Hadrians Wall??
There are also lots of things to do in and around the Lakes and the rest of Cumbria - South Lakes Wild Animal Park at Dalton, Dock Museum (free) at Barrow, Windermere and the steamers etc, Ullswater Steamers, Brockhole etc etc the list is endless, Carlisle Castle
I don't think it's a case of no one wanting to help you out but more a case that at this time of year lots of people are off camping or are busy and it's just the RIGHT people haven't seen your post - after all it was only Sunday you posted (this is the first time I have looked on the site since Saturday )
Sites around Berwick and in the Borders could be good too
Sounds good Keely, I'll make a note of those and have a look for sites.
Ian, I don't have an 'area' I'm looking for, that's why I've asked for suggestions... Just needs to be within 3-4 hours of Norwich. The only things I am looking for are those listed in my original post. Apart from that, I'm pretty open to suggestions.
