Hi POWs are you in a tent, caravan or Motorhome?
If you camping in a tent Masons Campsite at Appletreewick is dog friendly with two pubs within 5 minutes walk, one of which is very dog friendly. It is also situated on the river and there are fantastic walks for the dog to have a free run.
Riverside Campsite at Cononley nr Skipton has a camping field and hardstandings for Motorhomes or Caravans and that is a ten minute walk from the Railway Pub in the village which is dog friendly and again it is on the river and has lots of dog walking.
Scarborough Camping and Club accomodates all types of units and is just over the road to the Cleveland Way which just happens to lead to a great pub called the Scalby Mills Inn which usually has more dogs than people in it!
The Old Station at Masham is another site that takes all units and is a 15 minute walk to the village where you will find the White Bear Pub loves dogs and there are lots of walking opportunities and there is a river close by.
Those are just a few, check them out on the campsite search for more details, they are all great sites for dogs..........and pubs!

We stayed at Howgill Lodge which isn't very far away from Masons Campsite at Appletreewick, mentioned above, by Val. We haven't stayed at Masons, but passed it on our way to the pub. It looks a nice site, right on the river, but it looked too busy for us. Lots of families, lots of children, lots of noise, which is ok if that's your kind of thing. As our children are now grown up and don't want to come with us, we prefer the quieter sites, which Howgill Lodge is. It's a short walk down to the river, no busy roads to cross and a lovely walk, through the strid, to Bolton Abbey. I don't think it's adults only, but we didn't see any children. The site does allow dogs providing they are kept under control (which applies to most sites) but the walks in this area are great for dog walking and the views from the campsite are to die for. Check out the reviews.
