Hi,

Can anyone tell me if they have stayed at Daleacres, as we are looking to go there for a couple of days.

Thank you

hi kjd,

we stay at this site regularly as it's just up the road from our storage & handy for a quick weekend away. Really nice site - they recently added more hardstandings as some of the grass pitches can get a bit boggy if a lot of rain, but gets plenty of sun when it's shining!

Huge play field and seperate play area for ankle biters, brilliant dog walk if you have a furry friend, and very quiet if you just want to chill out!

Wardens are reasonably strict but pleasant with it. Next to nothing in the shop, but you're 10 mins from Hythe with small shops, or 15-20 mins from Tescos next to the M20 J11 (I think!).

We like it, and more importantly the kids like it, and there's plenty of room for them to move without having an effect on other 'residents'.

Thoroughly recommend it.17

We stayed there a few years ago and did not find the 'inhabitants' particularly friendly.

When we arrived there was a car parked in our chosen pitch belonging to the caravan adjacent. The owner was not too happy about moving it.

At weekends the site filled up with people from London who rather than say good morning would look the other way .

Must have been something to do with us being from the wild north.

Apart from that the site is up to the usual Caravan Club Site standard and at least the wardens were friendly.

Hi
We were there last weekend on our first visit. Usual high Caravan Club standards. Wardens very friendly. Great big field at back of site to play various ball games as well as a park with play equipment. Pitches clearly marked and you are requested to pitch in a certian way and shown a diagram to make sure you are not too close to anyone else. Dog friendly, within walking distance of a couple of good pubs. Really close to Port Lymne zoo which is brilliant. On site shop poor - nearest supermarket is Waitrose in Hythe. Beaches at St Mary's Bay & Dymchurch were lovely and sandy. I would recommend it and we hope to go back again soon. Mandy
