Hi,

Have narrowed my August camping week to 4 choices of campsite!  (lots not avaiable nowor don't take large tents).  Have read reveiws on them but wondered if anyone had any other feedback on the following sites in suffolk:

Azure Seas

Carlton Park

Kessingland CCC

Tangham Campsite

I am going with 2 of my sisters and their kids, so will have 3 tents and I have 3 children under 5.  Will spend days on beach, walking, visiting towns, castle, in forests etc.

Happy for basic but clean facilities on site and one where the kids could entertain themselves if we were just chilling there.

Any feedback much appreciated!

Thanks

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

At Azure Seas you actually overlook the undeveloped beach (sometimes used by natureists). It is also quite close to Pleasurewood Hills for the kids.

The relative informality of Azure Seas might be nice for you to group your tents, and be sure to call ahead and request the 'cliff edge' pitches for the absolute best experience.

The reviews (including mine) are representative.

Hi Tiredmum

Sorry I've only just seen you post. My wife caravanned at Azure Seas last October Half Term. It was very quiet as I think it closed down for the year a few days later. We loved the site we had a pitch on cliff overlooking the beach, no naturists - a bit too chilly perhaps, just fishermen. We were able to see the sea and hear it breaking on the shore when in bed at night.

The tourer/tent area is in mature woodland with lots of room for kids to play. We wish we lived nearer so that we go again easily - unfortunately we live in Merseyside.

We looked at some of the other sites you mention, and visited Kessingland for a look when in the area. My First choice would be Azure Seas EASILY!!

I hope this helps.

Tim
