Does anyone know of any campsites near Haydock racecourse

do you want to be right on the doorstep - or within say half an hours drive ?

if the latter then you can camp a Rivington - which is a fantastic base for your stay - lots of woodland walks - great views , lovely reservoirs and all in all a fantastic place - its about 8 miles away

2 places to "reccomend"  I say that as these are BASIC sites - but in FAB locations

I live in Haydock and there are none in the immediate area.  Nearest is probably Abbey Farm at Ormskirk which we have stayed at and is a nice site.  There is is also Charity Farm in Wigan which is probably about the same distance but can't comment on that as have never stayed there.  Would estimate about half an hours drive to both.
