Am looking for somewhere to stay in our Van 29th aug.

Would prefer a beach location or not far from beach,  dont really want an all singing all dancing site - not keen on having loads of entertainment or roudy drunks - you know the sort.

a quiet site with stuff for kids to do - maybe a pool

So come on guys sell me your favourite sites.

Not sure which way you would be thinking of heading, but if you fancy going north this palce near Dumfries is good.

There's some great beaches not too far away on the Solway firth, and the Scottish schools will be back at the time you're thinking of going so it will be quieter.
