im looking for some places in the north east uk for us to go were in darlington so dont want to stray too far for the weekend if you get me.

we have 3 kids aged 7, 3 and 1

doesnt nesseserily need to have much on just elec hook up and showers and toilets

the cheeper the better please x

If you can make it up to Northumberland how about Craster or Beadnell. The latter has fantastic beaches for the kids.

Byreside at Hamsterley not far from Newcastle\Gateshead.

Rowland Gill - we've just come back from the weekend then. Handy for nipping to Newcastle, next to a lovely park - ideal for younger children.

Kielder - tons to do with the kids.

Wooler\Powburn\Alnwick area - fab places!

If you want to stay local, Cote Ghyll at Osmotherly is good, as is Golden Square nr Helmsley

Triaj07 - can't believe there is someone on here that lives so close to me!! Was beginning to think I was the only one who lives in this neck of the woods!!

I can also recommend Cote Ghyll at Osmotherley - our boys loved it there over the May Bank Holiday weekend. We're planning a return trip in the next few weeks (hopefully!!)

If you are members of the C&CC then some of their rallies and meets are very close to you.
