Hi everyone,

I've been trawling through the reviews on this site and I've got information overload. We (2 families) are going away for 4 days at the end of July. There will be 4 adults and 5 kids (18 month, 2, 3, 4, and 7). We aren't CCC members and we need EHU, showers and a local pub within walking distance .

Any recomendations would be appreciated.

We are here for the scenary, walks, little villages etc, hence the choice of N Wales or Lake District.

Can thoroughly recommend Penrallt on the Llyn peninsula, top site, great walks, great beaches, great scenary and villages + a good pub with real ales walking distance.  Friendliest owners I've ever met.

try Cae Du in Beddgelert north wales, im sure it will tick all your boxes, it certainly one of our favs.

clean showers, 10min walk into village, very spacious site with fab views and walks all around..

I would recommend the Illam Park one for starters - gorgeous place
