After spending an excellent weekend at Keld, with the kids toasting crumpets on sticks on the campfire before bed, we are struggling to find a site to keep up with their expectations.
We are hoping to go away again this friday and wondered if anybody could advise us on sites in the north east ( northumberland, durham or north yorkshire) that either provide a fire grate or allow you to take your own firepit.
We aren't bothered about fancy sites, as long as they have a nice warm shower we will go anywhere, and the kids are happy with just open space to explore.
